I am pleased to welcome you to the Cochrane Editorial Unit (CEU) website. The purpose of the CEU is to support Cochrane groups in improving the quality of the Cochrane Library. We also aim to help build participation in Cochrane activities and promote the use of Cochrane Reviews to inform healthcare decisions.
I am fortunate to work with an excellent team that includes Harriet MacLehose, Toby Lasserson, Ruth Foxlee, Sera Tort, Newton Opiyo, Dr Monaz Mehta, Dr Kerry Dwan and Dr Nuala Livingstone, who are well known within Cochrane for their work in the Cochrane Infectious Diseases, Airways, Wounds, Lung Cancer, Effective Practice & Organisation of Care, Tobacco Addiction, Cystic Fibrosis Review and Developmental, Psychosocial & Learning Problems Groups, respectively, and John Hilton, Rachel Marshall and Jane Burch, all experienced medical editors. The team also includes Jackie Chandler (Methods Co-ordinator), Louis Dunn (Methods Support Worker), Hilary Simmonds (my PA), Vicki Pennick (CRG Executives' Support Officer) and Elizabeth Royle (Copy Edit Support Manager). The team also receives admin support from Maria Burgess (Office Manager), Luke Jackson and Maya Sapir (both Office Assistants).
You can read more about Cochrane's work at Cochrane.org.
